Phimosis — modern treatment with the stapler method
Phimosis is a condition in which the foreskin is too tight to be retracted freely over the glans. It affects approximately 5% of adult men. At Femi Premium we offer modern stapler-based circumcision (circular circumcision using a single-use device), which is faster, more precise and produces a better cosmetic outcome than conventional surgery.
Stapler vs. conventional method
- Procedure time: 10–15 minutes (vs. 30–45 min conventionally)
- Bleeding: minimal — the stapler simultaneously cuts and sutures
- Sutures: automatic, absorbable — no need for removal
- Cosmetic result: even, symmetrical outcome
- Recovery: shorter, with less swelling
Indications
- Physiological and cicatricial phimosis
- Recurrent balanitis (glans inflammation)
- Secondary phimosis (post-infection, lichen sclerosus)
- Circumcision for hygienic or religious reasons
