HPV vaccination — the most effective prevention of cervical cancer
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is responsible for almost 100% of cervical cancers. Vaccination is the only method of preventing infection — with proven efficacy above 90%.
Gardasil 9
We use Gardasil 9 protecting against 9 HPV types: 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58 — covering types responsible for over 90% of cervical cancers and 90% of genital warts.
Who should be vaccinated?
- Children 9–14 years — optimal timing, 2-dose schedule
- Ages 15–26 — 3-dose schedule
- Adults 27–45 — worth considering, especially before a new partner or after HPV-related treatment
- Men HPV causes oropharyngeal, penile and anal cancers
- After CIN treatment / conisation — vaccination reduces recurrence risk
