What does the visit include?
- Medical history — symptoms, health history, contraception, reproductive plans
- Gynaecological examination — assessment of external and internal genitalia
- Transvaginal ultrasound — uterus, ovaries and cervix on an HD scanner
- Pap smear — LBC (liquid-based cytology) sample collection
- Discussion of findings — clear explanations, all questions answered
When should you book?
As a routine check — once a year, even if you have no symptoms. Urgently — for abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, changes in discharge, suspected pregnancy or menstrual problems.
